“Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.” The opening lines of Max Ehrmann’s much-loved poem “Desiderata” are a calm, steadying reminder to find peace in a busy world. This Desiderata poem print sets the words in clean, modern lettering on a white background, with the poet’s name and title below. It’s also available with a black or vintage paper style background.
It’s a simple, grounding piece for anyone who could use a little more calm in their day. This go placidly quote print is a gentle nudge to slow down, breathe and treat others with kindness, “without surrender.”
It makes a thoughtful new job gift for someone stepping into a busy, fast-paced role. It’s also a lovely gift for a yoga or meditation teacher, or a calming stress relief gift for a friend who is juggling far too much right now.
