A high-quality art print featuring the beautiful poem "I Worried" by Mary Oliver on a light cream background with green text to compliment the watercolor-style greenery at the top of the print.
In "I Worried," Mary Oliver contemplates life's uncertainties: the growth of her garden, the course of rivers, and her own shortcomings. Eventually, she realizes the futility of her worrying. Choosing to embrace the present, she abandons worry, sings, and embraces life. Oliver's poem encourages living joyfully in the moment. The poem is about finding peace by letting go of unnecessary worry and living fully in the present. Scroll to the end of this description to read the full poem.

I Worried
Mary Oliver
I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?
Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?
Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.
Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?
Finally, I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
