This Julia Child quote print serves up her famously bold, no-nonsense approach to cooking: "If you're afraid of butter, use cream." Julia Child changed the way home cooks thought about food, bringing confidence, generosity, and a genuine love of flavour into the kitchen, and this quote sums up her philosophy in one punchy, playful line.
There's a sassy logic to the quote that makes it instantly quotable — it doesn't just poke fun at food anxiety, it offers a full-hearted permission slip to cook with indulgence rather than restraint. Rendered in bold, chunky retro-style lettering, the print has a punchy, graphic quality that suits a modern kitchen, breakfast nook, or open-plan dining space looking for a bit of statement-making personality on the wall.
This print is ideal for enthusiastic home cooks, bakers, and anyone who treats butter and cream as essential rather than optional. It makes a fun, memorable gift for a foodie friend, a new homeowner setting up their first proper kitchen, or a cook who never met a recipe they wouldn't richen. Suited to birthdays, housewarmings, or as a cheerful addition to a kitchen gallery wall, it's available framed or unframed to fit any space.
