The Memorare is one of the most cherished Catholic prayers to the Virgin Mary, and this print sets the full text within a soft border of hand-painted green leaves. Opening with "Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection... was left unaided," it's a prayer of trust, asking for Mary's intercession with confidence rather than fear.
Traditionally said in times of need, the Memorare offers real comfort to anyone seeking support or guidance through a difficult moment. The gentle greenery framing the prayer keeps the design calm and natural, making it a meaningful addition for anyone drawn to Catholic prayer wall art with real devotional weight rather than something purely decorative.
This print makes a thoughtful confirmation or first communion gift, a comforting sympathy gift for someone grieving or struggling, or a meaningful gift for a grandmother or mother with a devotion to Mary. It suits a living room, hallway, or prayer corner, offering quiet reassurance each time it's read.
"Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
We fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer them.
Amen."
