“Have no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.” This witty, freeing line from surrealist artist Salvador Dalí is a playful reminder to let go of perfectionism and just create. This Salvador Dalí quote print sets the words in a bold, quirky retro serif on a clean white background, with Dalí’s name in classic typewriter lettering below. It’s also available with a black background.
It’s a fun, encouraging piece for artists, makers and anyone who’s ever been stuck waiting to get something “just right.” This perfectionism quote print is a cheerful nudge to start, make mistakes and enjoy the process.
It makes an inspiring art school graduation gift for a young artist heading into a creative career. It’s also a funny, kind gift for a perfectionist friend who needs permission to relax, or a thoughtful thank-you gift for an art teacher who encourages students to be brave.
