"To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield" is one of the most quoted lines in English poetry, taken from Alfred Lord Tennyson's Ulysses, and this print sets it within a soft watercolour wreath of sage green leaves and dusty pink blossom. It's a strong choice for anyone searching for a Tennyson quote print with real motivational weight.
The line closes a poem about growing old without giving up on adventure, ambition or purpose, and it has since become a rallying cry for anyone pushing through a challenge, whatever their age. It's been quoted by explorers, athletes and leaders alike, which is part of what makes it such a popular graduation or achievement gift. The gentle wreath keeps the tone encouraging rather than forceful, so the print sits comfortably in a study, office or gym as easily as a bedroom.
It makes a meaningful graduation gift for someone about to chase a big goal, a thoughtful retirement gift for someone determined to keep going, or an encouraging gift for an athlete or anyone training for something hard. Tennyson fans and lovers of classic poetry will appreciate it too.
